I am so extremely excited that you are here! God birthed the idea for this homeschool community in my heart several months ago, so I’ve been thinking about YOU for a while now. You know why? Because this community is for you. This tiny place on the giant internet is your corner to breathe, to relax, to share “Way to go!” moments, and also “Sigh, me too” moments.
I think of this space as a kind of homeschool teacher’s lounge. A place where we all take a break from our daily lessons and rhythms to grab a cup of coffee and just be. We can laugh together, cry together, share ideas and advice, and sometimes talk each other off the “I’m just going to put them in public school!” ledge.
This community is still a work in progress, so please allow some grace in the logistics of things. We’re still working out the kinks in the system!
Become part of the community! “Like” us on Facebook, “Follow” us on Twitter, jump on all the social media channels! But, if you really want to dive deep with us and make sure you don’t miss new posts, and extras every now and then, make sure you subscribe with your email. Email is truly the only way that you get all the updates, and I promise not to fill your inbox with stuff you could care less about. I hate that, too!
Speaking of subscribing with your email address, to celebrate the launch of our new homeschool community we’re having a GIVEAWAY! Who doesn’t like free, am I right? We’re giving away a copy of Teaching From Rest: A Homeschooler’s Guide to Unshakeable Peace by Sarah MacKenzie. Why? Because y’all…. this book…. oh my word. I can’t even explain how much I loved and NEEDED this book. I would try to explain to you what she writes in this gem, but Amazon did it better if you’d like to check out the teaser here.
When you subscribe with your email you will automatically be entered to win a copy of Teaching From Rest. The drawing will be on Friday, so make sure you sign up TODAY!!!
Thank you for visiting! Look around and make yourself at home, and if you could share our community with a few homeschooling friends I would be so grateful!
